Starstruck Dance Team Camps began in Cincinnati, Ohio in  1997.  At the time I was working with a team there and we were attending university camps.  Although there were some advantages, it was not what I wanted for my team.  I was looking for a bonding experienc.  This couldn't happen when my team was spread around learning different routines.  I wanted routines that could be used as learned for football and basketball half times.  The abrieviated routines that repeated halfway through weren't suitable.  I also wanted routines that were challenging and fun for my team, and visually appealing to the audiance.  After much thought and discussion I decided to begin a small business.  I determined to offer those things that were missing in my camp experience.

I had previously coached a number of years in Wisconsin and had several contacts there so that is where we  began our camps.  In 2001 we relocated to Appleton, Wisconsin, and I was able to be more involved in the day to day operations.  Our business began to grow .

Today we have between 10 and 12  staff  who conduct the camps.  Our staff members have all been involved in  highly successful teams, and they all love dance.  They are trained to work with teams in the areas of technique as well as team building, because they come from teams who were successful in those areas.  We  conduct camps in all regions of the state, and receive good reviews from them.

We were here when Wisconsin
began its  adventure into competitive dance teams in the early 80's.  We have  had the opportunity for the past eleven years to work with some highly successful teams in the state.  Today, Wisconsin has become very competitive both locally and nationally.   StarStruck knows Wisconsin teams and their unique style.  Our goal is to give you camp routines that are long enough for halftime performances, without repeats.   Routines that are performed to upbeat music that is acceptable to both administrations and parents.  Routines that the audiance wants to stay and watch because they are fun and have lots of energy and variety.  From our coaches comments, we have successfully provided that for our camps.

We would love the opportunity to work with YOUR team.
